By visiting pethium.com or purchasing a product, you use our "Service" and agree to be bound by these terms (the "Terms"), along with any additional policies referenced in them. These Terms apply to all users of the site.

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the commerce platform that lets us sell our products to you.

We do our best to keep the site's information accurate and current, but we are not responsible if any information turns out to be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
Product specifications. Pethium products are made in batches and formulations are periodically improved. Ingredient sourcing, exact quantities, and packaging may vary slightly between batches. The label on the product you receive is authoritative regarding composition and directions — always read it before use.
Section 4 — Changes to the Service and prices
Our product prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
Section 5 — Products
Pethium products are available exclusively online through pethium.com. Stock may be limited. All products are subject to our Refund Policy, including the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
We strive to display our products' colors and packaging as accurately as possible. Actual appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen and lighting.
Section 5.1 — Product information
Composition. The Pethium medallion is a natural protection solution based on plant essential oils listed on the label. If your dog has a known sensitivity or allergy to a listed ingredient, read the label and contact us at hello@pethium.com before ordering.
Use. The medallion attaches to your dog's collar or harness. It is not a toy or a treat: it must not be chewed or swallowed. Keep it out of reach of children and supervise your dog on first use.
Results vary. Most owners notice a difference within the first weeks; individual results vary by age, breed, environment, and the animal's health. No solution — natural or chemical — can guarantee 100% protection. The 60-Day Guarantee exists precisely because we can't guarantee an outcome. We don't promise miracles: we promise a formula we believe in, and a refund if it doesn't suit your dog.
Not a substitute for veterinary care. Pethium products are natural protection solutions, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and do not replace veterinary care. If your dog is ill, pregnant, nursing, has a diagnosed condition, or takes medication, consult your veterinarian before use. If you see signs of an adverse reaction — repeated sneezing, irritation, lethargy, sudden changes — stop use and contact your veterinarian.
Delivery. Delivery times are estimates. Most US orders arrive within days from our partner warehouse. We aren't responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other circumstances outside our control — but we'll work with you to resolve them: email hello@pethium.com if your tracking is stuck.
Section 6 — Accuracy of billing and account information
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current purchase and account information, and to update it promptly when it changes, so we can reach you about your order.
Section 7 — Third-party links
Our site may include links or content from third parties — for example, our reviews and some widgets may be provided by third-party services. We are not responsible for reviewing or evaluating their content, accuracy, or practices, and we do not warrant their offerings.
Section 8 — Personal information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at pethium.com/policies/privacy-policy. By using the Service, you accept that policy.
Section 9 — Prohibited uses
In addition to the other prohibitions in these Terms, you may not use the site or its content:

If you submit a review, photo, or comment to Pethium — via the site, email, social media, or otherwise — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display that content in our marketing. We will always credit you (first name + initial + city) unless you ask us not to.
If you submit a photo of your dog, you confirm you own the rights to it.
Section 11 — Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
We do not guarantee that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The Service and all products are provided "as is" and "as available," unless we state otherwise in writing.
In no case shall Pethium, its directors, employees, affiliates, agents, or suppliers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any product. The 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee is the primary warranty offered on our products, described in detail in our Refund Policy.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pethium and its affiliates, directors, agents, and employees from any claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to your breach of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

A few things worth saying plainly:
- The Pethium medallion is a natural protection solution and is not a substitute for veterinary care.
- Attach the medallion to a collar or harness. It is not a chew toy: don't let your dog chew or swallow it.
- Store the product sealed, in a cool, dry place, out of reach of dogs and children.
- Introduce any new product gradually and watch for changes in appetite, behavior, or skin.
- If your dog is pregnant, nursing, on medication, or has a diagnosed condition, consult your veterinarian before use.
- In case of an adverse reaction, discomfort, or sudden behavior change, stop use and see a veterinarian.
Section 16 — Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to update or replace these Terms at any time by posting updates on this page. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Section 17 — Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or by us. You may end them by ceasing to use the Service. We may end them at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated any provision.
Section 18 — Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pethium regarding the use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
