The short version
If the Pethium medallion doesn't find its place in your dog's routine within 60 days, write to us — we refund you, usually within 3 business days. No need to send the product back. No restocking fees. No hoops.
We'd rather lose a sale than lose your trust.
Overview
Pethium creates natural everyday care for dogs — starting with Pethium Aura, a natural flea and tick medallion. Choosing natural protection takes a small act of trust: you never really know how your dog will respond until you try. So we carry that risk, not you.
This page explains how refunds work, what's covered, and how to make a request. It's written in plain language. Where legal wording was unavoidable, we kept it short.

Every Pethium order is covered by our 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Give it a real chance — most dogs get used to the medallion within the first few weeks. If, within 60 days of delivery, you're not satisfied for any reason — the scent bothers your dog, you don't notice a difference, or it simply isn't for you — request a full refund. No return required.
What's eligible
To be eligible:
- The request is made within 60 days of delivery
- One guaranteed refund per household every 12 months
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- All we need is your order number — it's in your confirmation email
The 60-Day Guarantee covers:
- A medallion whose scent bothered your dog
- A medallion that didn't make a noticeable difference
- A routine that simply didn't fit your household
- And everything in between
What's not covered
- Requests made after the 60-day window
- A product damaged by misuse, heat, improper storage, or use other than directed on the label
- Free gifts or promotional items already used (keep them — they're yours)
- Gift cards
If your dog has a known sensitivity to a listed ingredient, check the label before ordering. We'd rather you skip the purchase than be disappointed.
If the product doesn't agree with your dog
Stop use and talk to your veterinarian first. Then write to us — an adverse reaction is always covered by a full refund, whether or not you're within the 60-day window. Your dog's wellbeing comes before our policy.
How to request a refund

- Include your order number and one line: "I'd like to claim the Pethium Promise."
- We reply within one business day to confirm
That's the whole process. No forms, no photos, no returns, and nothing to justify.
Do I need to send the medallion back?
No. Since we don't resell returned medallions, there's nothing to send back. Keep it, finish it, or give it to a friend whose dog might benefit.

Damaged or defective orders
If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect:
- Email hello@pethium.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue
- We send a replacement at no cost — no return required
- Your guarantee window restarts when the replacement arrives
Cancellations
You can cancel an order within 2 hours of placing it by writing to us. After that, the order is with our fulfillment partner and we can no longer stop it. If you change your mind after that window, the 60-Day Guarantee covers you as soon as your order arrives.
Shipping and orders
Pethium currently ships to the United States. We're working on expanding to other countries — join the waitlist on our site and we'll let you know. When we expand:
- The same 60-Day Guarantee will apply
- Any customs duties or taxes will be included in the displayed price or shown clearly at checkout — never a surprise at your door
Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have additional consumer rights that apply on top of this policy. Our 60-Day Guarantee is voluntary and always goes beyond the legal minimum.

If anything here is unclear, or you disagree with a decision, write to hello@pethium.com with the subject "Dispute". A founder reads and answers it personally.
An important note about the product
Pethium products are natural protection solutions based on a plant-derived scent barrier. They are not medicines or veterinary products, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They don't replace veterinary care. If your dog is ill, epileptic, pregnant, nursing, or on medication, talk to your veterinarian before use. No solution — natural or chemical — can guarantee 100% protection.
